Your newpany Our client is a Top 100 firm that has been ranked in Band 1 for Personal Injury work by Chambers and Partners as well as Legal 500. They are currently recruiting for a catastrophic injury paralegal to join their Manchester office. Applicants would initially be required to be fully office-based before moving to 2 days working from home per week. The firm's office is based in Manchester city centre and is easily accessible by public transport.Your new role This Catastrophic Injury Paralegal role will see you:Assist senior colleagues in managing a diverse caseload involving brain injury, spinal cord injury, and amputation claimsDraft clear andprehensive witness statementsAttend conferences with counsel and medical experts, and producing detailed notesPrepare and review court documentationObtain, analyse, and organise medical and other relevant recordsEvaluate medical reports to support case strategyConduct legal research on liability and quantum issuesDraft instructions for medical experts and counselPrepare court bundles for hearingsManage billing processes and handle disbursement paymentsWhat you'll need to succeed Applicants must have a minimum of 12 months experience in personal injury and catastrophic injury claims.Strong team-working andmunication skills.Strong academic background.Excellent client care skills.
