We are currently seeking a Construction Services Officer for our client in the Construction industry, within the Public Sector. This is a Temporary position, offering an hourly rate starting from £25 per hour Umbrella. As a Construction Services Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the Construction Team with their projects. Your responsibilities will include: 🏗️ Liaising with Surveyors in the team and maintaining accurate records for the section, including schools. 📊 Providing updates on project progress and financial aspects to the Service Development and Compliance Team and Construction Programme Team. 🔍 Monitoring the activities of consultants working on projects. 📝 Inputting information and financial changes into spreadsheets to meet the information requirements of the Team, the Service, and the Department. 💼 Administering the Adaptations and fire protection servicing records processes, including coordination with Engineers and contractors. 📅 Arranging meetings, exhibitions, and venues involving tenants, leaseholders, engineers, contractors, consultants, and other relevant parties. 💰 Raising and authorising contractor invoices for payment, and agreeing on variations within agreed limits. 💡 Providing cost information for the Service Charges section to facilitate accurate leaseholder charges. 📑 Preparing reports requested by the Construction Programme Manager to initiate projects. 💻 Processing invoices, monitoring contractor activities, and reporting to the Construction Programme Manager. To be successful, you should have strong administration skills and be proficient in managing information and financial data. A Basic DBS check is required.
