Job description SEN Teaching Assistant – St Helens:The Role: Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups Preparing learning resources and activities Building rapport with pupils, parents and staff Maintaining regular communication with the teacher and external agencies to ensure Education and Health Care plans are updated Position Details: Location: St Helens Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Type of Work: Temporary Full time/Part time: Full time only Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm Minimum Rate of Pay: £100 per day, depending on experience Start date: 03/03/2025 End date: Ongoing Experience, Training & Qualifications: Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided) Level 2 Teaching Assistant or other relevant qualification is essential Previous experience supporting SEN, in particular Autism TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years OTHER
