Role Overview Position: Teaching Assistant (SEMH) Location: St Helens Contract Type: Full Time Minimum Rate of Pay: £95 P/D Working Hours: (Apply online only) As a Teaching Assistant, you will: Individualised Support: Work closely with students, understanding their unique needs, and providing targeted assistance during class activities. Behaviour Management: Implement behaviour management strategies, promoting positive interactions and emotional regulation. Collaborate with Staff: Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create a holistic approach to student development. Requirements Experience: Previous experience working with students who have additional needs is advantageous. Empathy: Ability to connect with students, demonstrating patience and understanding. Adaptability: Flexibility in responding to individual needs and adjusting teaching methods accordingly. Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture.
