BSL & Communication Support Assistant – Hebburn Pay: £89 to £110 per day Start: Immediate Contract: Full-timeThis role is ideal for someone who believes communication should be accessible in every form.You’ll support children who use a mix of BSL, symbols, gestures and sensory cues to express themselves. Your role is to help each pupil feel heard, understood and connected.Your day might include: • Using BSL or sign-supported communication • Supporting sensory and communication programmes • Helping pupils feel safe, calm and confident • Working closely with speech therapists and class teamsYou’ll shine if you: • Have BSL experience (any level welcome) • Understand autism, sensory needs or complex learning profiles • Enjoy helping pupils develop their own voiceThis is a role where communication becomes confidence.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
