We’re looking for dedicated professionals to join our clients after-recovery project, supporting clients in dispersed housing throughout the Oxford area. About the Role This vital service helps clients navigate the next steps in their recovery journey. You’ll provide support to individuals who may be in varying stages of substance or alcohol use recovery, many of whom face mental health challenges, complex needs, or behavioral issues. Key Responsibilities: Assist clients with tenancy management, finances, and accessing benefits. Support clients in attending meetings and engaging with multi-agency teams. Build trusting relationships to help clients stabilize and thrive in their housing. Navigate the complexities of working with individuals who may have ongoing or recent substance use, mental health challenges, and other vulnerabilities. What We’re Looking For We need compassionate, knowledgeable professionals with expertise in housing, addiction recovery, and homelessness. Ideal Candidates Will Have: A solid understanding of housing systems and tenancy management. Experience working with individuals in recovery from addiction. Familiarity with mental health challenges and complex needs. Resilience and the ability to manage challenging behaviors calmly and effectively. Due to the nature of this role, it is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
