We are looking for two Senior Mental Health Support Workers to join an organisation based in Oxford. The salary is between £22,500-£24,500 depending on qualifications and experience. They would also be willing to train an experienced Mental Health Support Worker up a senior position so a great opportunity for career progression.

The role is working 37 hours per week on a rota basis including evenings and weekends, you get 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Other benefits include shopping vouchers, professional qualification sponsorship, health care plan and a cycle to work scheme.

You will be supporting clients to live independently while focusing on their mental health needs, you will provide a safe and comfortable environment for residents to live and colleagues to work, whilst also empowering Support Workers to feel confident in their role. You will lead by example and take the role of Shift Lead - ensuring that all members of the team are aware of daily tasks and notes are completed and updated as appropriate.

You will be the first point of contact handling all queries and requests from internal and external partners responding in a timely manner delegating as appropriate,lead in times of incidents in the absence of the manager and deputy, ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to. You will mentor and support new team members in their role and be
responsible for leading on projects to enhance the service.

You will be creating support plans for the residents and ensure risk management plans are implemented as well as supporting residents with medication, shopping, budgeting and household tasks.

You should be an experienced mental health support worker or a senior support worker with experience of shift leading.
