We develop competitive practices that position organizations for growth and we deliver the insight needed to succeed in today’s global marketplace.Job DescriptionSolutions Architecture is responsible for designing and delivering the technical components within Staff Augmentation / Procurement Solutions (MSP), Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and AGS internal systems of record. The focus is to ensure that MSP & RPO solutions being deployed and operationally maintained contain the most efficient technological and business process considerations enabling the capabilities required to meet specific business needs. Further, this role will need to be able to navigate the nuances and variances between what and how to deploy a solution based on the technology and unique requirements. This process involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders, project teams and subject matter experts (SME’s) providing leadership and holistic views into cross-business and functional solutions.ResponsibilitiesArchitecture not only provides the business with what is needed, but also allows the business to implement effective solutions on time minimizing downstream maintenance, quality inefficiencies and long-term operational cost. Engagement goals with the Architecture team include leadership and execution coverage across the following areas:Thought LeadershipSolution DesignLead Delivery for SolutionsThe Solutions Architect functions within the Solution Architecture team:Provides technical and project leadership on complex end-to-end enterprise implementations, expansion opportunities, operational program efficiencies and AGS internal technology initiativesLeads requirements gathering, solution design, testing and deployment of client invoicing solutionsAnalyses clients’ business and technical challenges and designs comprehensive solutions that integrate smoothly into customer environmentsProvides consultation to internal and external leadership on technology best practices and trendsSupports, Builds and Maintains team process documentation related to all VMS, RPO and Internal technology we support as a functionRecommends appropriate courses of action to technology vendors and leadership on technical issuesResearches and documents industry trends & technologies and advocates courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and competitivenessOversees and supports project data collection, modelling and analysisResponsible for execution of integration testing, analysis and validationsCoordinates & provides input to technology and data staging (functional and technical)Manages technical documentation creation, analysis and maintenance (specifications, technology documents, error handling guides, invoice process flows, test scenarios, etc.)Provides operational and technology solution governance to cross-functional teamsAttends project meetings providing technology considerations, notes and takeawaysConducts technology research and analysis supporting project business rulesDefines and implements technical standards and procedures across supported programsManages, coaches and directs the work of one or more Solutions Analysts as applicableQualificationsAdvanced proficiency in creating architectural designs for complex programsAdvanced knowledge of AGS technology platforms and partners (VMS tools, RPO tech and tools, Acumen Source and Acumen Insights, etc)Excellent consulting, negotiating, communicating, consensus building, presentation and facilitation skillsProven innovator with the ability to think beyond established standards and processesKnowledge and experience applying current and emerging technology solutions and trends to solve for complex business problemsWorking knowledge of various project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Critical Path)Working knowledge of shared services functions and responsibilities and how those impact the overall program and architectureExtensive knowledge of integration file formats and canonical structures, transmission protocols and transformation technologiesBasic understanding of coding languages & mathematical logicAdvanced understanding of pseudocode used in technical specification documentsBasic understanding of file transmission and encryption as well as general data securityModerate understanding of database structuresExtensive knowledge of web application architecture and development standardsExceptional leadership skills demonstrated through the project and technical leadership experienceAbility to understand overall company strategy and best practices and apply/implement in assigned projects/initiativesExpert-level ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately to all levels and audiencesThorough knowledge of process modelling techniques and protocolsKnowledge of the staffing industry, HR practices, and payroll and accounting processesExcellent Customer relations skills
