They are a medium-sized enterprise known for their commitment to excellence in accounting and finance practices.Job DescriptionAVP-Product ControllerCity of LondonBanking & Financial ServicesOversee daily profit and loss production and reporting processes.Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of financial reports to stakeholders.Perform detailed analysis on trading performance and related metrics.Collaborate with trading desks to provide financial insights and support decision-making.Maintain and enhance financial controls and processes within the organisation.Support month-end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.Assist in the preparation of regulatory and audit requirements.Provide leadership and guidance to junior members of the team.The Successful ApplicantAVP-Product ControllerCity of LondonBanking & Financial ServicesA successful AVP-Product Control should have:A strong background in Product Control (ideally Capital markets and Structured products), particularly within the Investment Bank or Brokerage space.Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.In-depth knowledge of product control processes and financial reporting standards.Proficiency in financial systems and analytical tools.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Python / SQL or Alteryx preferred but not a must.What's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from £75,000 to £85,000 per annum.Market leading benefits package.Permanent position within the financial services industry and leading brokerage house.Opportunity to work with a reputable organisation in Accounting & Finance.Supportive work environment fostering professional growth.Challenging and engaging projects to enhance your career.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced AVP-Product Control professional to advance their career in the financial services sector.
