Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturer based in Wakefield to recruit a Technical Engineer to join their team. Our client is looking for someone who is confident being client-facing with excellent customer service skills, and project management skills and can work collaboratively in a team, across other departments and with external customers Responsibilities for the Technical Engineer include: Provide technical support to the product support team Provide AutoCAD drawings for projects and products Produce manual page updates and technical bulletins Produce and deliver training for in-house colleagues and external stakeholders Carry out site visits and production of detailed reports and solutions for support requests Organise and supervise product manufacture for in-house and external testing To be successful in this role you will need the following skills/experience: An Engineering background Detailed knowledge of Building Regulations, industry-relevant British Standards, EN Standards and Building Control requirements Be capable of basic static calculations Have a good understanding of fenestration systems and how they are applied to specific project requirements Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to think laterally Full literacy in Microsoft Office software suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) AutoCAD proficiency – 2D essential, 3D highly desirable
