About the role Early Years Teaching Assistant (Full Time, Temporary) Northumberland, Blyth £444.60 – £475.00 per week. January 2026 – July 2026 The School and RoleWe are looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly, organised primary school in Northumberland, Blyth. Working as part of an established team, the desired Early Years Teaching Assistant will be supporting in Nursery, delivering both general whole class support as well as tailored one to one support to a child who requires consistent and affective care. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 15:30pm. This school believes in an embedded creative curriculum in all areas of learning. For this role the school requires someone with a relevant Teaching Assistant or EYFS qualification, however they do not need to be level 3 trained.RequirementsThe desired Early Years Teaching Assistant will have; Experience of working with primary school aged childrenExperience of working with pupils with SEND and offering one to one supportIdeally will hold a relevant EYFS/ TA qualificationA passion for the progress of primary school pupilsAn ability to work as part of a team What we offer As a Teaching Assistant, part of our team, you benefit from: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
