Job Title: Social Worker – Learning Disabilities TeamLocation: TamesideRate: £35 per hour An exciting job role has recently become available in Tameside. They are looking for a new member for their Learning Disabilities Team. What will your responsibilities be? An exciting opportunity to join a newly established Learning Disability, Autism, and Transitions team. These posts will support ensuring that the Learning Disability and Autism Team is Care Act compliant and operates effectively in line with TMBC’s policies and procedures. You will provide Care Act assessment, support planning, review, safeguarding, mental capacity, and best interest work, participating in the duty function and improving the outcomes for individuals with a learning disability and/or autism, including young people who are in transition from Children’s services. Benefits: Enhanced pay rate, usually set at £30 per hour Attractive hybrid working model with at least two days from home Reasonable expectations and caseloads with regular supervision Qualifications and Experience: Social Work England registration Eligible to work in the UK Hold a full UK licence Post-qualified experience Degree level or equivalent in Social Work How to apply?
