This role is vital for maintaining the integrity of our accounts and supporting the overall financial operations of the Contract.About Our Client:They have been creating and maintaining beautiful green spaces for over 30 years, earning a reputation as a multi-award-winning green space management specialist. Their services span from design and installation to maintenance and estate management, catering to commercial, private, and public sector clients nationwide. With a passionate and highly skilled team, our client is committed to excellence in grounds maintenance, arboriculture, and landscaping. As a Carbon Neutral business, they prioritise sustainability, ensuring their work enhances the environment while exceeding industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Perform data entry tasks related to financial transactions and maintain organised records.Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft to manage financial information effectively.Support month-end closing activities by preparing necessary documentation and reports.Collaborate with team members to reconcile discrepancies in financial statements.Maintain filing systems for financial documents, ensuring easy access and retrieval.Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts as required by the finance team.Provide support for audits by gathering necessary documentation and responding to queries.Support Operational management team with internal financial processesReconciliation of month end finances and raising accurate invoicesComplete month-end accounts for local depot and report through the head office.Requirements:Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Workday, or PeopleSoft is highly desirable.Strong understanding of financial services and accounting principles.Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.Benefits:Flexible working hours to suit your schedule.Competitive hourly rate based on experience.Friendly and supportive team environment.How to Apply: If you're looking for a part-time role with flexibility and the opportunity to support a growing business, we'd love to hear from you Apply today to join our client's team.Chappell Enterprises UK are an equal opportunities employer and encourage applications from all backgrounds.
