You’ll be joining a team that ismitted to delivering profitable growth through strategic broker relationships and operational excellence. Your new role You will be responsible for managing a panel of delegated authority schemes, driving performance and profitability through proactive engagement with partner brokers and internal teams. This role involves regular scheme reviews, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing actions to improve underperforming accounts. You’ll lead renewal meetings, contribute to audits, and supportpliance and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in mentoring junior team members and refining underwriting documentation and processes. What you'll need to succeed You’ll bring over five years of underwriting experience from an insurance carrier or MGA, with a strong background in delegated authority account management. Yourmunication and relationship management skills will be essential, as will your ability to analyse data, write reports, and influence stakeholders. A solid understanding of the UK insurance market and regulatory landscape is required, along with proficiency in MS Office. Ideally, you’ll also hold a relevant qualification such as CII, and have advanced Excel and presentation skills.
