Exciting Opportunity for Consultant in Acute Medicine in Lancashire Pulse is delighted to announce an immediate opening for a Consultant to cover Acute Medicine, primarily in the Emergency Department (ED), with potential cross-cover responsibilities in Medical Assessment Units (MAU) and Clinical Decision Unit (CDU). If you’re a dynamic and adaptable professional with a passion for acute care, this position is for you. Join us in providing exceptional care to patients in Lancashire. As a Consultant in Acute Medicine, you will predominantly work in the ED, conducting assessments, overseeing treatments, and providing expert medical care to patients with acute conditions. There may be occasional requirements to cross-cover at MAU, and flexibility to work at both sites is essential if the rota necessitates it. Additionally, you should be able to cover ED RPH post takes as needed. This position offers immediate availability and extends from 2nd to June 30th, providing an excellent opportunity to make an immediate impact in acute medicine. Requirements: GMC Registration Right to work in the UK Relevant experience as Consultant in Acute Medicine.
