Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for a Cathodic Protection Technician to work for a leading company who are based in the Telford area.For the successful Cathodic Protection Technician our client is offering:Competitive rate paying between - £30,000 - £41,000 per annum - This will depend on the Level of qualification you holdPermanent positionDays based role 8:30am-5pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays - 36.5 hours per week - Must be flexible to start / finish timesCompany Vehicle Overtime opportunities paid at premium ratesThe Role - Cathodic Protection Technician:Prepare technical bids against allocated and reviewed enquiriesGenerate BOM and servicesLiaise with the Sales department to obtain BOM sales prices for material element of projectsAssist in performing Design work as requiredCoordinate sub contractors activitiesPrepare and follow risk assessments Carrying out site surveys performing specific tests on Pipelines, Tank farms, refineries, pump stations, onshore marine terminals and jettiesSupervise and assist in the installation of new or replacement CP equipment Writing up reportsPerform maintenance checks and troubleshooting tests of existing protection systemsProject managementCollecting & reviewing data to determine condition of structures under evaluationInvolvement in installation projectsTravelling across the UK to customers, overseas travel maybe involved as the role develops in timeThis role will involve travelling away during the week - But not on weekendsCommissioning activitiesWhat our client is looking for in a Trainee Cathodic Protection Technician:You must be willing to stay away from home as this will involve being away from home most weeks Monday to Thursday/Friday Strong communication skillsOur client is looking for somebody with a Qualification - ICORR / NACE Level 2 or 3Understanding of CAD softwareExcellent attention to detailKeen to learn, this position will be working closely with a more experienced EngineerUK Driving Licence - EssentialPassport - EssentialKey Skills or Similar Job Titles:Cathodic Protection Technician, Cathodic Protection, CP Technician, ICORR / NACECommutable from:UK Wide, Shropshire, Staffordshire, West Midlands, South West, South East, London, Southampton, Somerset, Bristol, Suffolk
