Trainee Estimator

Trainee Estimator Due to continued growth, my client is seeking a Trainee Estimator to join their team in Horsham. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s enthusiastic about developing a career within mechanical estimating, project support, or engineering.The Role As a Trainee Estimator, you’ll support the estimating team in preparing accurate costs & tenders for mechanical & pipework projects.Key Responsibilities:Assisting in the preparation of mechanical bids, tenders, & cost estimatesAnalysing technical drawings & specifications to help prepare project estimatesUsing Cypher estimating software (full training is provided)Liaising with internal & external engineers, consultants, & subcontractorsSupporting the estimating team to resolve design & costing queriesContributing to the overall project planning & pricing processAttending occasional site visits to gain real-world project experienceThe Candidate No previous estimating experience is required – full training will be provided over a 2-year period.
