Test & Development Engineer – Surrey – circa £30,000 + Benefits – Ref 527I am currently recruiting for a Test & Development Engineer to work for a key client of mine based in Surrey. Salary circa £30,000 + Benefits. The organisation has been established for over 80 years, are industry leaders within the field they operate within and have 20 manufacturing facilities across multiple countries. Their revenue last year was over £3 billion and they employ over 7,000 employees worldwide. To support the growth of the business they have the need to appoint a Test & Development Engineer on a permanent basis based out of the European HQ in Surrey. In this role as a Test & Development Engineer, you will be working in a multi-disciplined R&D team and will be responsible for testing, validating and verifying my clients state of vehicles to ensure they meet the design specification and regulatory requirements. You will be working closely with the engineers to understand what they want to test the vehicles for and why and from here will devise a test plan and specification, set up the tests, conduct the tests, analyse the results and provide feedback and recommendations based on the findings to the engineering team. Ideal Requirements: •1 years’ experience in industry as a Test & Development Engineer, Validation Engineer, Verification Engineer or similar • Background in electrical / electronics • Experience using Data Loggers and Oscilloscopes • A testing inclined mentality – wanting to break things to prove they work and pushing a system to its limits • Experience with full life cycle testing – devise a test plan, conduct the testing, analyse the results and provide recommendations • Experience with Sensors • Understanding of CAN OR CANalyser • Understanding of SIL This is fantastic opportunity for a Test & Development Engineer to work for a company who work with the latest technology working on extremely interesting projects in a role of high responsibility with complete autonomy.
