If so you could be the Design & Project Manager our client is looking for … Overall Responsibilities Detailing of custom solutions to match order Liaison with suppliers for parts manufacture for costs and with Workshop Supervisor for the organisation of Production and products on time to a high standard. Occasional assembly, as required, to enable review the design and manufacture of parts and subsequent improvement. Specific Duties Preparing customer GA CAD Drawings for approval Detailing manufacturing drawings to fulfil the GA. Creation of BOMs for special products and procurement as required Workshop Liaison – to work with Workshop Supervisor to assist in the planning and execution of production such that sales orders are fulfilled on time, to the right specification and quality Maintenance of Drawings for continuous improvement of standard product. Customer Liaison on projects Other Duties as maybe reasonably required by the company to fulfil position Skills & Attributes Conceptually sound solutions that can be manufactured economically and easily assembled Solidworks experience with the skills to work in 3D Ability to produce accurate detailed drawings on time for suppliers to work to Working knowledge of Machinery Standards Strong and measurable communication with workshop Willingness and ability to work as a team Working to company flow charts Willingness to learn
