Receipt & Despatch Clerk Posted on November 18th, 2025 Trafford Park £ per hour Type of Job: Temporary Great opportunity to work as a Receipt & Despatch Clerk for our clients' Global logistics company that provides international express mail services, freight transportation, supply chain solutions, and warehousing. Staffline is recruiting Receipt & Despatch Clerks in Trafford Park. The rate of pay is £ per hour. This is a full-time role working fixed shifts and the hours of work are: - 10am to 6pm Your Time at Work As a Receipt & Dispatch Clerk you will be responsible for coordinating the accurate receipt, checking, booking-in and dispatching of goods, ensuring all stock movements are recorded correctly and all outgoing orders meet company and customer requirements. Key responsiblies include: Inbound (Receipt): - Receive deliveries and check goods against purchase orders and delivery notes. - Accurately book stock into the Warehouse Management System (WMS). - Report discrepancies, damages or shortages to the supervisor. - Allocate goods to appropriate storage locations. - Maintain clean and organised receiving areas. Outbound (Dispatch): - Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch. - Check order accuracy and ensure all paperwork is completed. - Book outbound shipments and liaise with drivers/couriers. - Ensure dispatch deadlines are met and goods leave the warehouse securely and correctly labelled. Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker will work closely with internal teams, external drivers and transport partners. You will contribute to smooth warehouse operations by keeping work areas tidy and organised. Applicants will maintain WMS data accuracy at all times; experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is preferred. You must be able to follow Health & Safety and site security procedures. Previous experience in warehousing, logistics or similar clerical roles is required.
