Train Cleaning Operative

Title: Train Cleaner Location: Manchester, Ardwick Rates: £12.90p/h Hours: 8pm-5am - 4 on 4 off pattern. Responsibilities: Perform basic facilities services, including cleaning, archiving, mailroom tasks, and janitorial services. Work in groups of 3 to 4 individuals, ensuring effective teamwork and communication. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of industrial and office sites, both indoors and outdoors. Complete assigned tasks according to defined procedures and standards. Receive general direction from the supervisor. Utilise tools and power equipment, such as mowers, tractors, snow blowers, chainsaws, and electric clippers. Keep equipment in clean and operational condition. Maintain grass and vegetation, including snow and debris removal when required. Requirements: Good communication skills, with the ability to understand and speak basic English. Ability to work on your feet for the majority of the shift, with breaks provided throughout. Willingness to learn and follow site induction, health and safety procedures, and expectations. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness. A valid driving licence is not required for this position To apply for this role, please submit your up-to-date resume.
