Your newpany Thispany is one of the largest children's services in the UK. they aremitted to transforming the lives of vulnerable children, young people and their families working with families from pre-birth through to adulthood to ensure every child has the best start in life.Your new role As a Family Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting families to ovee challenges and achieve positive oues. You will work directly with parents, carers, education providers and children to provide practical and emotional support, helping them build resilience and access the services they need. You will be required to deliver tailored support to families experiences a variety of challenges and will be conducting home and school visits; carrying out assessments and working with multiple agencies to get the best results for not only the young person but the whole family.What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you will need a minimum L3 qualification in a relevant field and have at least 2 years experience as a Family Support Worker. As this role involves travelling across Sandwell you will be required to have access to a car for work purposes and have business insurance. An enhanced DBS is also required for this role.What you'll get in return You will be paid apetitive hourly rate and have a guaranteed long-term, full-time role until March 2026, with further opportunities for permanent opportunities. As a Hays contractor, you will have a dedicated consultant who will support you throughout the recruitment process as well as whilst you are at work. You will be given access to our training platform, where you can assign yourself to free online training to enhance your own skills.
