Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a SENd Teaching Assistant for a SEN school within a large trust, in Wolverhampton.The school is a relatively large setting with just under 1100 students on roll. With the school being part of a well-established trust, it offers a solid network and community of expertise within and one where it allows for uniqueness to the individual school from it's exceptional staff team of leadership, teachers & support staff.The school are looking for an SEN specialist to join their department to deliver support to the teachers in SEN classes, the role will involve helping the teachers and doing everything possible to help the day run smooth.Protocol have very high expectations of our teaching assistants, we want to ensure we are putting the best staff in front of this school so please only apply for this role if you meet all criteria.Role: Teaching AssistantLocation: WolverhamptonHours: Monday - Friday 8:30am – 3:30pmStart date: ASAPQualifications: Level 3 Teaching Assistant (unqualified can apply ONLY if you have experience with SEND)Benefits: On-site parking, in-house & national accredited training, in house payroll - PAYE, dedicated counselling service, well-being events & Birthdays offProtocol Education are looking for a candidate who;- Believes that every student, regardless of their background or need, can make outstanding progress- Is rigorous, relentless, determined, creative, inspirational in their style and presence as a leader- Utilises a variety of teaching methods to present engaging, thoughtful lessons and CPD sessions- Be an advocate and inspirational leader within their subject- Is caring and has the drive and passion to continue to develop strong relationships and the well being with staff, students, parents, governors, professionals and the local community- Excellent behaviour and classroom management, ensuring a constructive and positive environment is always enforced.- Knowledge of AQA exam board and leader within GCSE's- Confident in supporting pupils with SEND and how to support and differentiate within the mainstream classroomAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
