If you’re serious about your own career development, here you will be working alongside this supportive Technical Manager who will encourage, coach and mentor you to develop your technical skills and knowhow. You will be the Technical Manager’s right hand, deputising in her absence and driving through high quality and technical standards across the factory. It’s a tight-knit, supportive team who navigate challenges with a mix of expertise, professionalism and a ready humour to diffuse any ‘pants on fire’ moments We’re looking for potential. Someone who has a good grounding in food safety and quality. You could be a QA Supervisor ready for the next step, with internal auditing experience and used to working to BRC standards. With two direct reports, you’ll create development opportunities for them through coaching and encouragement. It’s a highly varied role; working with NPD to conduct taste panels, organoleptic assessments, leading the HACCP team, developing and mentoring the line QAs, developing and leading the GMP. In other words, it’s a degree quality role with plenty of variety to keep you busy. This arm of the business is based at a small manufacturing facility in Hertfordshire.
