This a replacement Consultant position and the successful candidate will have the chance to join a dynamic team of consultants with expertise across a broad range of areas including mycology, infection control, and infectious diseases.This department is one of the busiest in the London region providing a service for a large urban population. The successful post holder will be entering a modern and well equipped environment and is expected to play an active role in the general workload of the department while having a significant commitment to teaching and training of junior staff.The post holder should have the following: •FRCPath or evidence of equivalent qualification • Full and specialist registration (and with a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council • Any UK trained applicants should also hold CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training), or be within six months of award of CCT by date of interview• Any non-UK trained applicants will be required to show evidence of equivalence to UK CCT• Wide experience in all aspects of Microbiology and Infection, culminating in award of CCT or equivalent either in medical microbiology or dual accreditation in Microbiology and Infectious disease• Specialist training in Microbiology or Infectious DiseasesIf you want more information on this position then please apply now We are often appointed by NHS Trusts to help recruit for their Emergency Medicine vacancies.
