Resuscitation Practitioner (Band 6) Location: Central London Employment: Full-term, permanent (Monday – Friday) Flexible Working Options: 5 days a week (40 hrs a week) 4 days a week (32 hrs a week) Salary: 5 days a week: £45,000 – £50,000 per year 4 days a week: £36,000 – £40,000 per year Pulse is delighted to have partnered with one of the UK’s leaders in Clinical Research. Working alongside research volunteers, patients, clinical and academic specialists – ensuring the research meets the highest regulatory, scientific, quality and ethical standards. For the past 20 years delivered clinical excellence and helped deliver over 30 medicines to market Role overview: As a Resuscitation Practitioner, you’ll play a crucial role in clinical emergencies, providing leadership and mentoring, and participating in acute clinical shifts. Remain clinically acute by participating in external acute clinical shifts Take a leadership role in clinical emergencies within the unit Use ALS instructor status to develop resuscitation skills within the team Ensure ALS/ILS staff comply with RCUK requirements through monthly assessments Oversee and document emergency system checks, ensuring accuracy Deliver robust clinical skills training The Ideal Candidate: Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience as a registered Nurse, Operating Department Practitioner or Paramedic working with the unwell adult Experience with managing/participating in cardiac arrests and medical emergencies Must hold ALS or ILS instructor qualification Nurses with an A&E or Resuscitation background are highly desirable Benefits: 25 days of holiday Bonus Pay review Career opportunities and progression Pension scheme Free parking and on-site canteen Social events A fantastic opportunity for experienced nurses, where you can continue to grow and develop your clinical skills and contribute to vital research, in bringing new medicines to market – this role is not to be missed out We are unable to support or accept applications from candidates who are residents within the Red or Amber list of the Code of practice for the international recruitment of health and social care personnel in England, based on the World Health Organisation (WHO) Workforce Support and Safeguard List.
