Accounts Payable Manager

Role:Our client is looking for an immediate, temporary, Accounts Payable Manager to assist them for 3 - 6 months. You be will be responsible for following duties:Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice receipt, coding, matching, approvals, and payment processing.Ensure accurate and timely weekly payment runs and ensuring Urgent payment request are approved and processed timely.Maintain Vendor master data, including setting up new vendors, updating information, and resolving discrepancies.Support the AP team to Manage reconciliations of AP sub-ledger to the general ledger.Oversee end-to-end month end process for the AP team. Expenses Processing OperationsOversee Expenses specialist end-to end expenses process including expenses booking and processing together with payroll and treasury teamsOversee Expenses end-to-end month end processSupport Expenses specialist in maintaining the newly set up Expenses helpdesk platformEnsure AP and Expenses processes comply with company policies, GAAP (if applicable), and regulatory requirements.Implement and maintain strong internal controls to prevent fraud and payment errors.Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations. Process ImprovementEvaluate existing AP processes and systems; recommend and implement improvements.Lead automation initiatives (e.g., OCR, AP workflow tools).Develop KPI's and reporting tools to monitor process efficiency and accuracy.Supervise, mentor, and train AP staff; assign and review work to ensure high performance.Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development.Foster a collaborative and accountable team environment.Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and issue resolution.Build strong relationships with internal departments (accounting, treasury, operations and business stakeholders).Profile:The successful, temporary Accounts Payable Manager will have a strong management background with extensive process improvement experience. You will have experience using Netsuite. You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.Client:Our client are a growing consultancy based in London. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Salary & Benefits:The temporary Accounts Payable Manager role will be paying circa £250 - £300 per day, dependant on experience.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
