Your new role As a Materials Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout the production process. You’ll be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating material requirements to meet production targets and customer demand. Key responsibilities include:Managing inventory levels and optimising stock controlCollaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materialsAnalysing demand forecasts and adjusting plans accordinglyWorking closely with production and procurement teams to maintain efficiencyIdentifying and resolving potential supply chain issues proactivelyThis role is critical to maintaining operational performance and supporting thepany’smitment to delivering high-quality products on time.What you'll need to succeed Proven experience as a Materials Planner, Production Planner, or similar role within a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of MRP systems, inventory management, and supply chain principlesExcellent organisational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detailAbility to work under pressure and adapt to changing prioritiesStrongmunication skills and a collaborative mindsetA background in engineering or manufacturing and proficiency in ERP systems will be highly advantageous.What you'll get in return Opportunity to work with a market-leading manufacturerCareer development and progression opportunitiesA supportive and collaborative team environmentThe chance to make a real impact on operational success
