It operates large-scale donation and distribution campaigns, collaborating with partners and volunteers to deliver meals and essential supplies to underserved communities.Job DescriptionCategory Ownership: Lead procurement for indirect categories such as gifting, packaging, logistics, and event-related supplies.Vendor Management: Identify, onboard, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery, and ethical sourcing.Strategic Sourcing: Drive cost optimization and value creation through competitive sourcing and alternate vendor development.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with CSR, finance, and operations teams to align procurement with campaign and program needs.Market Intelligence: Track trends in gifting and packaging to recommend innovative and cost-effective solutions.Contracting & Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and service agreements ensuring compliance with internal policies and CSR standards.Process & Compliance: Ensure procurement activities follow organizational SOPs and maintain documentation for audits and reporting.Reporting & Analysis: Monitor procurement KPIs, prepare MIS reports, and support data-driven decision-making.The Successful ApplicantExperience: 6-10 years in indirect procurement, preferably in FMCG, retail, or CSR-related domains.Category Expertise: Proven track record in sourcing gifting items, packaging materials, and other non-core categories.Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop category strategies, drive cost savings, and manage vendor relationships.Stakeholder Management: Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams including finance, CSR, and operations.Ethical & Compliance Focus: Familiarity with procurement policies, documentation standards, and audit readiness.Analytical Skills: Proficient in using data to track KPIs, generate reports, and support decision-making.Purpose-Driven Mindset: Passion for contributing to social impact through efficient and responsible sourcing.
