A charitable organisation, who make a meaningful impact every day supporting people with disabilities, currently seeking a proactive and experienced HR Business Partner to join them on a part-time basis (21 hours a week), for a 6-month maternity cover. (Potential for something longer term/permanent). Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer Direct Reports: HR Team (4)The RoleAs HR Business Partner, you’ll lead a small, high-performing HR team and work closely with the CEO to deliver strategic and operational HR initiatives. You’ll play a key role in employee relations, safeguarding, data analysis, and HR projects that drive organisational effectiveness and engagement.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Team Management: Coach and support the HR team to deliver a people-focused service.Employee Relations: Advise on performance, grievance, disciplinary and capability cases, ensuringpliance with employment law and safeguarding standards.HR Projects & Data: Lead HR initiatives, manage HR data integrity, and provide insights to senior leadership.Safeguarding &pliance: Act as a key contact for safeguarding queries and ensure alignment with legislation.People Strategy & Culture: Partner with leaders to embed a culture of engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion.Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships across the organisation and with external partners.About YouEssential:Proven HR generalist or business partnering experienceStrong knowledge of employment law and HR best practiceExperience managing ER cases and safeguarding processesConfident leading a smallpetent HR teamExcellentmunication and influencing skillsData literate with HR systems experience CIPD Level 5 or equivalentDesirable:Experience in charity, public, or not-for-profit sectorsKnowledge of safeguarding frameworksHR project experience involving data and analysisKey Attributes:Professional, empathetic, and solution-focusedOrganised with strong attention to detailStrategic thinker with hands-on delivery skillsWhat’s in it for you?Rewarding career pathways and CMI-accredited leadership developmentFlexible working hours (start as early as 7am, and as late as 10am)22 days' holiday rising to 30 (pro rata) + bank holidaysHealth benefits post-probation (Simply Health, dental or gym membership)Employee Assistance ProgrammeNest pension scheme with employer contributionMental health first-aidersRefer-a-friend recruitment scheme
