This Sunderland secondary school is looking for someone who’s curious, calm and great at understanding behaviour. You’ll support pupils with anxiety, social difficulties and emotional regulation, helping them build confidence day by day.What you’ll be doing: • 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs • Using your psychology background to understand triggers and behaviour patterns • Helping pupils develop coping strategies and positive routines • Working alongside SEN staff and behaviour leadsIdeal for: • Psychology graduates • Future teachers, educational psychologists or therapistsYou’ll need: • A calm, patient approach • Willingness to learn trauma-informed and de-escalation strategies • Driving is an advantage for multi-site workAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
