Job Description IT Support Technician required. Our client is the world’s leading service specialists for the entire life cycle of a factory and the associated infrastructure. For 60 years, they have been providing customers in the automotive and manufacturing industries with support along the factory cycle: from planning, installation, and automation to operation of the factories and buildings. They are now looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to join their team based in Coventry. The successful candidate must be willing to travel and will be the first point of contact for the Global Service Desk to resolve all IT related inquiries and incidents in the UK.  Position Overview  To resolve day to day IT issues as they arise across all operational and support locations Participate in company projects Record all IT support activities in the ITSM tool  Test restores when required Maintain the IT hardware register and replenishment policy Ensure department policies and procedures are maintained Coordinate systems and processes meetings and presentations where required collating KPI Ensure new starters have the correct IT equipment, applications and access Provide innovative ideas and solutions to future proof our offering to the customer base Travelling to sites when required (car allowance) Position Requirements Minimum 2 years experience in an IT Support role Microsoft technical certifications & educated to GCSE level Working knowledge of an IT service desk Strong technical knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure  Navision 2013, SQL, VMWare, NetApp, Virtualisation – desirable Full UK clean driving license Excellent problem solving and organisation skills Enthusiasm for IT and system processes Position Remuneration  Monday to Friday 9am – 17:00pm (flexible hours discussed at interview stage) Salary £25,000 – £30,000 (DOE) 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Parking on site Pension Scheme Car allowance  Training provided
