About the Role of an Early Years Teaching Assistant: In this role, you will: Provide 1:1 and small-group support for children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, speech & language difficulties, developmental delays, and social/emotional needs. Assist the class teacher and SENCO in delivering personalised learning plans. Create an inclusive, engaging, and safe environment that supports children’s emotional, social, and academic development. Use a calm, patient, and child-centred approach to help learners achieve their full potential. Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent support. We’re Looking For as an Early Years Teaching Assistant: Experience working within an Early Years setting (nursery, reception, childcare, or similar). Previous SEN experience is highly desirable (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language). A caring personality, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for working with young children. Individuals who are proactive, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team. Relevant qualifications (CACHE Level 2/3, Early Years, SEN training) are beneficial but not essential for the right candidate. Why Work With Milk Education?
