About the Job This is an ongoing temporary position requiring a confident HR Advisor to join a small, hands-on HR team. The successful applicant will support managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle, working closely with the Head of HR to provide generalist advice, manage processes, and contribute to a range of operational and administrative HR duties. Duties will include: Coordinating end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and compliance checks (including DBS and Right to Work) Advising on employee relations matters including grievance, disciplinary, and absence management Preparing payroll information and liaising with finance Supporting employee wellbeing initiatives and internal staff communications Producing HR reports and maintaining accurate records in line with GDPR Administering learning and development activities and probation tracking Ensuring timely responses to HR queries and managing the HR inbox Assisting in policy development and deputising for the Head of HR when required About the Successful Applicant You will have 3–5 years of recent, UK-based HR advisory experience in a generalist capacity, ideally within a small organisation. CIPD Level 3 or 5 would be a bonus, along with strong interpersonal skills, up-to-date employment law knowledge, and the ability to manage competing priorities with a hands-on and proactive approach.
