The Firm This Legal 500 and Chambers ranked Top Tier regional firm is highly reputable across the North West. Though they have a rich heritage dating back several decades, they remain ahead of the curve by embellishing an innovative, forward-thinking, and dynamic approach that constantly allows them to evolve. They invest heavily into ensuring they are using and utilising the best technology available and have good infrastructure and excellent support teams, allowing you more time to focus on generating fees and having more in the way of client contact. The firm has a large mix of clients and works with some big names both from the City as well as the affluent area they operate in, making an interesting and varied client base. A large number of these clients have been long-standing with the firm and often offer repeat business which gives you a flavour of their success. As well as this, some businesses use the firm as their outsourced legal department. The firm has a modern and flexible approach to working and understanding its staff is of paramount importance to making them the successful firm they are. They recognise the value of looking after their staff and offer agile working on different levels to individually meet the needs of each employee, with working from home encouraged to fit in with employee's personal lives. The Role Their Specialist Corporate department is highly is ranked in both the Chambers and Legal 500. They provide City expertise, in a modern way and with more flexibility in terms of fees compared with that of city firms. The department works predominantly for UNHW individuals and Business owners. You will find real variety to the type of client base and work, making for a more interesting role. The client base will include individuals and companies ranging from SME, OMB, right up to FTSE 250 companies and household names. They also have several very interesting online businesses and social media companies. Typical caseload will consist of: M&A and disposals Shareholder Agreements LLP/Partnership Agreements Share Restructuring Share options Company formations & Administration Requirements You will be a Corporate Senior Associate with 6+ years PQE Excellent communication skills You will be a team player with excellent attention to detail You will be commercially minded and enjoy business development and marketing Remuneration Salary is competitive around market rate, which will be dependent on experience, on offer is an excellent benefits package and bonus scheme Excellent career prospects, no glass ceilings
