Job Description Senior Internal Controls Manager – London Astrum Search is working exclusively with an international media and tech company to recruit a Senior Internal Controls Manager in London.  In this high-profile role, you’ll support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of internal control frameworks across the region. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll lead control assurance activities, oversee remediation of audit findings, and help embed a strong culture of governance and operational excellence. You’ll take ownership of the Minimum Control Standards exercise for EMEA, manage self-certification processes, and deliver control testing and reporting in line with the global programme. The role also provides the opportunity to collaborate with global colleagues on process standardisation, best practice sharing, and ad hoc risk initiatives. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant experience in internal controls, risk management, or audit gained in industry, consulting, or professional services. Strong stakeholder engagement, analytical thinking, and influencing skills are essential. This is a London based role 2-3 x per week. Travel is expected to be limited.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a tech-focussed business that is investing heavily into AI for the future.
