This role is all about building trust, setting positive boundaries, and helping children feel safe, understood, and ready to learn.If you’ve worked with children before and know how powerful a steady presence can be, this could be a brilliant fit.What you’ll be doingYou’ll be supporting pupils across the primary and secondary age range, working one-to-one or in small groups, and becoming a consistent role model they can rely on. Over time, you’ll help pupils develop better behaviour strategies, stronger emotional regulation, and more confidence in school.Your day-to-day will include: Identifying pupils who need extra behaviour or emotional supportDelivering one-to-one mentoring sessionsHelping pupils manage emotions and behaviour in positive waysCreating and reviewing individual action plansWorking closely with the SENCo and wider school teamTracking progress and monitoring behaviour improvementsSupporting pupils during lunch and break timesBuilding positive links with families What we’re looking for Previous experience working with children or young peopleA calm, patient, and proactive approachConfidence using your own initiativeEnergy, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to make a differenceSomeone who can be a positive role model, even on tricky days Why work with Protocol Education?
