This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to high-quality analysis, budgeting, and forecasting in a collaborative environment.Job DescriptionPartnering with the Senior Analyst to ensure accurate cost allocation in monthly management accountsPreparing accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and posting relevant journalsProducing insightful analysis to support business performanceCollating forecast data from across the business in a timely and accurate mannerSupporting the annual budgeting processTaking on varied tasks from the Financial Controller and FP&A Manager, with a focus on process improvement and leveraging modern technologyThe Successful ApplicantA successful FP+A Analyst (FTC) should have:Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA or AAT qualified and looking to progressSolid understanding of accounting standardsIdeally experience in a professional services, corporate, or LLP environmentFamiliarity with systems like Business Central and reporting tools such as Jet or Power Pivots is a big plusStrong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skillsConfident user of MS Office, especially ExcelWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging up to £40,000 per annum.Fixed-term contract with the potential for growth and career development.Opportunity to work with a reputable company in Peterborough.Collaborative and professional working environment.Generous holiday allowance and other company benefits.
