Job Title: 1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant – Primary Location: BD4, Bradford Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full academic yearDo you have a calm, confident approach and a genuine passion for helping children re-engage with learning? We’re looking for a dedicated 1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant to work with a KS2 pupil in a friendly and supportive primary school in the BD4 area.The Role: This role is all about building trust and supporting progress. You’ll work 1:1 with a pupil who currently splits their time between the inclusion room and their classroom - the goal is to help them return to full-time learning alongside their peers.Your day will involve: Supporting emotional regulation and encouraging positive behaviour. Creating a safe, structured space in the inclusion room. Reinforcing class routines and social interaction when in the classroom. Working closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and wider staff team to implement behaviour strategies and celebrate small wins. About You: Experience supporting pupils with social, emotional, or behavioural needs. A calm, patient approach and the ability to build strong, positive relationships.
