If you’re someone who brings patience, positivity and a steady presence to the classroom, this role could be exactly what you’re after.The role You’ll be supporting KS2 pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning in a way that feels safe, structured, and encouraging. Every child has their own strengths and challenges, so no two days will feel the same, but your impact will be clear.You’ll be: Supporting pupils with autism, communication needs, SEMH, or sensory profiles Delivering 1:1 and small-group support Helping pupils regulate emotions and navigate their routines Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and therapy staff Creating a warm, predictable environment where pupils can flourish What the school is looking for Someone who is: Calm, caring, and able to build quick rapport Confident supporting children with SEND Patient, observant and able to follow structured strategies A team player who communicates well and brings a positive attitude If you’ve worked in SEND before, brilliant.
