We’re looking for a enthusiastic, committed Learning Support Assistant to join an inspiring SEND school in Telford. In this rewarding role, you’ll support primary-aged pupils with moderate to complex learning needs and communication difficulties, helping them grow in confidence, progress academically, and enjoy their school day. About the role • Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups to access learning • Encouraging communication, independence, and emotional wellbeing • Working closely with teachers and therapists to adapt learning activities • Helping create a calm, safe, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive About the school • A caring and creative community supporting pupils with a wide range of needs, from moderate to complex, and communication difficulties. • A knowledgeable, friendly team who value collaboration • A well-resourced site, easily accessible via public transport Requirements To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will: Patient, proactive and passionate about helping children with SENDExperience supporting children with additional needs or communication difficultiesConfident with behaviour support and building trusting relationshipsAble to provide references, hold a valid DBS, and have the Right to Work in the UK Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
