The company is a medium-sized business known for its focus on delivering high-quality products and services.Job DescriptionOversee project budgets and prepare financial reports.Monitor project costs and ensure accurate allocation of expenses.Collaborate with project managers to forecast financial outcomes.Analyse and report on project performance to stakeholders.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.Assist in the preparation of audits and financial reviews.The Successful ApplicantA successful Project Accountant should have:Proven experience in the industrial and manufacturing industry.A strong background in project accounting and financial management.Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.A recognised qualification in accounting or finance, eg, ICAS, CIMA or ACCAPrior experience with implementing IFRS 16Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.The ability to work effectively within a team and independently.What's on OfferCompetitive daily rate.Temporary position offering flexibility and valuable experience.Opportunity to work within the industrial and manufacturing sector.Collaborative and professional working environment.If you are a dedicated Project Accountant ready to take on a new challenge, we encourage you to apply and contribute your expertise to this exciting opportunityThis role is fully office based so candidates must be available to be on site - no hybrid working allowed
