Teaching Assistant – level 3 Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Redhill – Start asap/January Key Responsibilities Classroom Support Assist the class teacher in planning, delivering, and evaluating learning activities. Lead small group work and targeted interventions to support pupil progress. Provide one-to-one support for pupils with additional learning needs, ensuring inclusive practice. Help create an engaging, safe, and positive learning environment. Teaching & Learning Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of individual pupils. Use a range of behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour. Assess and record pupil progress, feeding back to the teacher regularly. Support pupils in developing independence, confidence, and social skills. Pastoral & Safeguarding Build positive, supportive relationships with pupils. Promote pupil wellbeing and uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times. Support pupils with SEND, behavioural needs, or emotional/social challenges.
