This job is now CLOSED – for similar roles please check the Technical function.Recently graduated with a degree in Food and looking for your first permanent role in the Technical Department of a food manufacturer, get in touch My client is a successful food manufacturing business based in the North West of England. They are part of a larger food group which will give the successful individual great exposure and opportunity at the beginning of their career in the food industry. They manufacture their own branded products and also products for retailers. They are currently looking to strengthen their Technical Team with a Graduate Food Technologist. They would ideally like a Food Science undergraduate with a years industrial placement as a Technical Assistant, Quality Auditor, Quality Controller, Food Technologist, Quality Assurance Technologist, Specifications Technologist, but this is not compulsory they are happy to train someone up. You will gain broad exposure to the Technical function of a food manufacturing business. Responsibilities in the Technical department include overseeing hygiene, housekeeping and food handling processes, advising on nutritional, food quality and packaging regulations, and liaising with customers on any quality matters or concerns. Any knowledge and understanding of GMP’s, BRC’s and HACCP will be beneficial in technical food roles. Start date September Get in touch for further information Ref NCM
