The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for fresh food and proven event catering experience. Assisting Head Chef with ordering, stock rotation and menu creation Supervising and mentoring team members Leading and inspiring the team. Training new kitchen employees on the restaurant’s standards and regulations Ensuring the highest level of food hygiene in the kitchen Ensure health and safety legislation is complied with in the Kitchen areas. In-depth knowledge of the kitchen’s routines and utensils Your Skills and Experience Driving license and access to your own vehicle At least 2-3 years event catering experience preferred. Knowledge of food preparation methods and presentation Full understanding and proven experience of H+S and EHO requirements Standards driven, with a focus on quality and attention to detail. Strong leadership skills Experience of liaising with suppliers and ordering Strong organisational and administrative kitchen management skills Ability to work well under pressure and to specific time frames.
