Pulse have recently partnered with a leading healthcare provider. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership for the service. This post is based in Central London, which is easily accessible via public transport. About the role: As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be working in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered, and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to help create and maintain a robust service whilst seamlessly incorporating other centre services. Your main responsibilities as a Senior Occupational Therapist: Provide a high-quality physiotherapy service to Hospice Inpatient, Day Services and Community patients. To autonomously manage a complex patient caseload with specialist palliative care needs, demonstrating high level clinical reasoning and communication skills. To ensure therapy intervention is individualised and patient-centred, focused on what is important to the patient and involving the patient’s significant others throughout. What we are looking for in a Senior Occupational Therapist: BSc (hons) degree or diploma in relevant specialty Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration for Occupational Therapy Evidence of post graduate professional development Experience of working across a variety of inpatient and rehab specialties e.g. Oncology, respiratory, Knowledge and competencies equivalent to demands of the post.
