SLT position in a well-respected agencyReporting directly in to 2 CEO's.About Our ClientMy client is a small/mid-size agency with clients in tech, data, telcomms, energy, infrastructure, etc. specialising in public affairs, communications and policy. They are committed to driving impactful strategies and delivering value to their clients.Job DescriptionLead the development and implementation of public affairs strategies for clients.Engage with key stakeholders, including government bodies, regulators, and industry representatives.Provide expert advice and guidance on policy matters to internal and external stakeholders.Oversee the preparation of policy documents, briefings, and reports.Represent the organisation at external meetings, events, conferences and industry forums.Monitor legislative and regulatory developments relevant to the professional services sector.Manage and mentor a team to ensure the delivery of high-quality outputs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrated policy and public affairs efforts.The Successful ApplicantA successful Director - Public Affairs should have:Strong academic background in a relevant field.Proven expertise in public affairs and policy development, useful if in the sectors listed above.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience in leading and managing teams effectively.Ability to analyse and interpret complex policy issues.A strategic mindset with a focus on achieving results.Proficiency in preparing reports and presentations for diverse audiences.What's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from £90,000.Opportunity to work in a well-known public affairs team, with a focus on impactful policy work.Permanent role based in the heart of London.Chance to lead a team and influence campaigns.
