Job Title: Social WorkLocation: Doncaster Metropolitan Borough CouncilRate: £32 per hour An exciting role has become available at the Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council. They are looking for a Social Worker to join their Multi-disciplinary team, offering a pay rate of £32 per hour. What will your responsibilities be? In this role, you will carry out statutory duties in relation to adults, adhering to Directorate policies and procedures. You will be responsible for your caseload under the supervision of the Team Manager. You will undertake social work tasks, collaborating closely with other professional staff to assess the needs of adults and deliver care packages tailored to individual requirements. You will develop skills in working with older people, including those with mental infirmities and physical disabilities. You will work closely with other team members and assist them when needed. Where appropriate, you will develop special interests according to need, demand, and service priorities. You will work and develop links with other agencies, including statutory, voluntary, and community groups. You will be involved in the duty system during office hours on a rota basis and undertake any other duties commensurate with the grading of your post.
