The Recruiting Partnership Project (RPP) is responsible for attracting, sourcing and selecting officers and soldiers for the Army (Regular and Reserve), meeting targets based around volume, shape & diversity and in delivering an excellent candidate experienceYour role as an Interviewer/Assessor is to guide and nurture candidates applying to the British Army through the assessment process in an unbiased, friendly and controlled environment.As an Interviewer/Assessor You will be responsible for the implementation of both physical and psychometric assessment activities under strict test conditions. The application of a detailed marking guide to ensure candidates are graded in accordance with their ability.This role will involve working a shift pattern of 37.5 hours per week over a 7-day period. This will include overnight chaperone and 'on call' duties once per week.Job Description:What you'll be doing:Briefing and delivering all cognitive assessment activities under test conditionsContributing to an un-biased test environment for all assessment activitiesAssessing candidates against fixed criteriaProviding feedback on a candidate's performance at assessment, their assessment outcome and their next steps in the recruitment processConducting individual career discussions with candidatesWriting accurate reports to assist recruiters and Basic Training Instructors to understand the candidate's strengths and weaknessesWhat we're looking for:All candidates must hold a valid UK driving licence and be willing to travel or commute as requiredGood communication skills both verbal and writtenThe ability to nurture and mentor candidatesExcellent Team PlayerFamiliarity with Army Careers, would be an advantageOrganised approachStrong attention to detailGood MS Office skillsAbout Recruiting Partnering Project (RPP):At Recruiting Partnering Project, we're transforming the British Army's recruitment service.
