We are looking to speak with skilled and experienced Financial Crime Lawyers who are looking to advance their careers within a law firm’s Risk & Compliance team. This is a flexible working opportunity, ideal for a qualified lawyer with a strong background in AML, financial crime, and regulatory risk management.Key Responsibilities:Ensuring compliance with AML and FC laws, regulations, and internal policies.Providing expert advice on financial crime matters including sanctions, anti-bribery, fraud, and suspicious activity reporting.Supporting the development and implementation of AML and FC policies, procedures, and controls.Conducting risk assessments and contribute to firm-wide compliance strategies.Investigating and reporting suspicious transactions, including SAR submissions.Monitoring regulatory developments and updating internal frameworks accordingly.Collaborating with internal teams to manage risk and deliver training programs.Responding to regulatory and audit requests and supporting remediation efforts.Requirements:Extensive experience in AML and financial crime compliance within a regulated environment.Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks.Proven ability to manage complex compliance issues and provide strategic advice.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Experience in drafting policies and delivering training.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping financial crime compliance within a forward-thinking and collaborative team.
